Aqua America Subs Purchase One Wastewater and Three Water Systems BRYN MAWR, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 4, 2005--Aqua America Inc. (NYSE:WTR) announced today that its New Jersey subsidiary, Aqua New Jersey, Inc., recently purchased the water and wastewater system assets of Hanover Village for approximately $180,000.

Hanover Village serves approximately 300 residents in North Hanover Township, Burlington County. The system is adjacent to Deep Well Terrace, which the company acquired two years ago.

In Ohio, the company's Ohio subsidiary purchased Norlick Place Water System, which serves 345 residents in Center Township, Williams County for a cost of $120,000.

Also, the company's Missouri subsidiary purchased the water system assets of LTA Water Company for $25,000. This system serves nearly 300 residents in Branson, Taney County.
