Brian Dingerdissen

Brian Dingerdissen is Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Treasury, and Investor Relations of Essential Utilities, Inc. (NYSE: WTRG), one of the largest publicly traded water, wastewater and natural gas providers in the U.S., serving approximately 5.5 million people across 9 states.

Dingerdissen assumed his current role in April 2025 after 20 years at the company. In his role, Dingerdissen leads the team responsible for financial, planning and analysis, including developing and reporting performance against budget and the company’s long-term plan, and economic analysis related to refining the company’s operations. He is the key connection to the financial community, and is responsible for communicating the company’s financial, strategic and operation goals and results.

Prior to his current role, Dingerdissen has served in many capacities during his time at the company. As treasurer, he has been responsible for financing activities over $1.5B as well as implementing a $1B commercial paper program and $1B At-the-Market stock issuance program. He led the company’s multi-year companywide procure-to -pay project, and helped with the implementation of a new treasury module to modernize the way the company manages its debt portfolio.

As chief of staff, he played a key role in the successful CEO transition at the company in 2015, including the formation and implementation of a new leadership team and growth strategy.

As head of communications, he oversaw the rollout of the company’s rebranding to Essential Utilities and led the re-organization of the company’s communications team. He also served as interim chief human resources officer, and he started the development of the company’s formal sustainability program.

He joined the company in 2005 and assumed leadership of investor relations in 2008. He has helped the company’s market cap grow from approximately $2B to more than $10B, has enhanced the company’s relationships with the investment community, and led the investor relations efforts for the company’s successful secondary public equity offering of $2B to finance the acquisition of Peoples Natural Gas.

Dingerdissen earned his Bachelor of Science degree in finance and his Master of Business Administration from Villanova University. He is currently the Chair of the Delaware Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross. He is a former member of the board of directors of the Villanova Executive MBA Alumni and the Philadelphia chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute.
