Bradley Palmer

Bradley Palmer is vice president, chief accounting officer for Essential Utilities Inc. (NYSE: WTRG), one of the largest publicly traded water, wastewater and natural gas providers in the U.S., serving approximately 5.5 million people across 9 states.

He is responsible for external and internal financial reporting, including that required by the Securities Exchange Commission and Sarbanes Oxley regulations. He is also responsible for financial information system projects, coordinating external audits, corporate accounting and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and principles throughout the company.

Prior to being named vice president, chief accounting officer, Bradley served as vice president, deputy chief accounting officer, since November 1, 2024.

Professional History

Palmer was previously the controller for Aqua Pennsylvania Inc. (Aqua PA) from June 2021 to October 2024 where he was responsible for accounting, external and internal financial reporting, financial information system projects, coordinating external audits and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and principles.

Palmer joined Aqua PA with 16 years of experience in the profession, with more than ten years in public accounting primarily serving audit clients in utilities and manufacturing for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte, and more than five years in progressing management positions in the utilities industry working for PECO Energy Company and Florida Power & Light Company.

Palmer is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Pittsburgh. His professional associations include the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Gas Association.
